  • Designed protective packaging for a living ornamental tree, configuring interior structure to prevent shifting and damage during shipment
  • Designed and fabricated a handheld stem measurement tool distributed to greenhouse partners to standardize plant grading and quality control
  • Engineered pallet stacking configurations for 750+ pallets, optimizing box geometry and load arrangement to maximize cold storage density across nationwide shipments

  • Managed production and downselection of 75+ SKUs across a 6-figure budget from POC to PVT, conducting risk assessments and scenario planning for core team and leadership.
  • Developed an alternate manufacturing strategy, reactivating a previously qualified compression molding supplier to recover schedule and deliver on time.
  • Restructured build sequencing to prioritize longest lead-time materials, navigating COVID-19 supply chain constraints to deliver on schedule
  • Allocated excess materials from Silicone program to adjacent teams during supply constraints, enabling cross-program schedule recovery
  • Resolved show-through defects in pastel colored cases through DOEs conducted with in-region Product Design Engineer

  • Selected as student robotics expert for a NASA/CTTSO-facilitated workshop, collaborating with bomb technicians and NASA engineers to rapid prototype a walking robot addressing real-world counter-terrorism operational needs in five days.
  • Supported refurbishment of the Space Exploration Vehicle (SEV) through hands-on disassembly and inspection

Spacesuit Load-Bearing Bracket

ME 104: Mechanical Systems Design

  • Designed a load-bearing bracket for space-flight applications and was constrained to using acrylic material. I designed a custom component that was engineered to support a suit clip under a 60 pound tensile load for a minimum of 10 seconds and limited deflection to no more than 0.25 inches.

Motorless Payload Lift System

ME 104: Mechanical Systems Design

  • Designed a gear transmission system to lift a 100kg payload 100mm from a counterweight-driven input, validated through gear ratio, mechanical advantage, and torque analysis
